Ms. Donovan represents clients in connection with arbitration, mediation, securities and general commercial litigation, and general corporate law including the governance, formation, merger, modification and dissolution of corporations and other legal entities.

For four years prior to starting her current practice, Ms. Donovan was Of Counsel to the Columbia, Maryland law firm of Adams & Adams. Prior to her role with Adams & Adams, Ms. Donovan was a partner in the New York law firm of Seaman and Ashley. At Seaman and Ashley, Ms. Donovan was counsel to numerous real estate management companies and directly advised the boards of directors of condominium and cooperative associations regarding a wide variety of legal matters. Ms. Donovan also represented clients in numerous litigation matters, which included discovery, trial preparation, trial and appellate work. As one of three partners, Ms. Donovan was instrumental in training associates and support staff.

Ms. Donovan is actively involved in her community.  Since 2010, Ms. Donovan has served on the planning committee for Hope in the Harbor, an annual gala held in Baltimore to benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Ms. Donovan served on the Board of Trustees of the St. John’s Parish Day School in Ellicott City, Maryland for three years, from 2015 to 2018 and has been a member of  the Buildings and Grounds Committee for St. John’s Church in Ellicott City, Maryland since 2015.  Ms. Donovan is on the Board of the Baltimore Wellesley Club, and served as its President from 2013 to 2018. She previously volunteered in the Howard County public schools as a leader in the PTA for Centennial High School.
